Every time I use this I have to plug it in at least 3 times for the computer to recognize it. When it is connected without a memory card, the indicator lights up. If you then insert the memory card into the card reader, nothing happens. Then you need to insert a memory card, disconnect it from the computer and then connect it. If you don't mind doing this every time you want to access your images, get it. If it's too annoying, leave it.
