This emergency radio is equipped with the features you need in any emergency or should only be used for normal everyday use. What I like best is the capacity of the battery. It has a large capacity of 4000mAh. Most other emergency radios have a capacity between 1000 mAh and 3000 mAh. It can also be charged in 4 different ways, charging lithium battery, large solar panel, USB socket and handle. It has 4 blue lights that show the percentage of battery left so you know when you need to top up your battery. The radio is amazing. I have great radio reception and it has a really good speaker that plays at a high volume. The radio has AM, FM and an emergency weather channel. Another nice feature are the lights. The flashlight has three levels of brightness. Low and medium settings are very bright. High settings are as blinding as your car's high beams. You simply choose which setting you need for each situation. It also has a separate motion-controlled reading light behind the sun sensor. Set it to "auto" and walk past it in the dark and the light will come on, or set it to "light" and it will stay on to use as a reading light. If the reading light comes on when you lift the solar panel to charge the battery, switch it to automatic mode. The light goes out after about a minute. You can also use the USB port to charge your mobile phone and send an SOS alert. All this is packed in a compact, robust case. In my opinion a great radio at a very reasonable price.
