I've been using this tenderizer for more than three months, about three times a week. This tenderizer is suitable for grinding with the flat side. I rarely used the other side and only at the end of the process. The meat tenderizer is easy to wash by hand, a dishwasher is not required. The packaging indicates that it is stainless steel. If so, then the stainless steel is not very high quality. I've used two expensive meat tenderizers before and the quality was a bit poor. I am happy with this purchase.
