Slightly small and 3 lawns hardly differ from each other

I've had this mat for a few weeks and have used it a lot. It serves its purpose, but there is room for improvement. First, I'll start with the positive aspects. Love how it folds into a very compact package for easy storage. As far as I can tell it's durable and strong. I can see it holding up very well over time especially when not left out in inclement weather. I found the price reasonable. However. It's definitely small, as many have pointed out. It's big enough to hit the ball, but you have to place the ball right in the middle of the surface you're hitting or you could hit the edge of the mat. My biggest problem, and maybe I don't know how to use them properly, is that all three surfaces hit me equally. I use plastic exercise balls in my yard so maybe a real ball would make a difference? I do not know. The ball just lies on the rough, so the rough doesn't matter. I assume a real ball would have more weight and fall into the bumps? If you use plastic balls, this mat is probably not the best option. Finally, a 1" thick mat places the ball about 1" above your feet on a flat surface. On a larger mat, you could place the ball at foot level. If I had to buy it again I think I would get a bigger rug even if it was twice the price. Again, real balls can feel different. i have to check it
