Review on Puppy Baby Book Greenfield Ireland by Tara Ford

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Just like a children's book for newborns, but for dogs

This is a hardcover book, slightly more expensive than some of my 4 children's books, but includes instructions for making sure, buy from items for the dog, etc. There are pages to fill in about the dog's parents and family members who adopted the puppy, a page for pawprints, a space to fill in information about the litter, information about feeding, the type of litter, Dates and information on adoptions, playmates such as children, training information if you have a coach or training class, information on doctors, vaccinations, weight and height and many pages of photos of Jewish and Christian holidays and neutral non-religious holidays. It is 72 pages long and contains information about animal organizations such as websites, addresses and phone numbers. This is a great book to get before you even get a dog as you will be encouraged to ask for more information than the owners will give you. I can still call, but I don't want to be boring and ask for more. I have already asked them to email me pictures of the parents as well as pictures of the puppies at birth a week or more later. There is plenty of space for all of this. The book measures 11 x 9 inches.

Pros
  • Top marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other selections
