After I bought 3 different cages for my Syrian hamster, somehow none of them went well. The United States does not have good options when it comes to absorbing the Syrians. Some of the large cages I found had questionable top clearances or the latches were unreliable. I got so fed up one morning that I said fuck it and ordered this cage at noon and to my surprise it arrived at 7pm the same day! I hesitated to place an order because I thought the price of this cage was too high! In fact, this cage is perfect for my Syrian hamster Stella. She gnawed at the bars and moved uneasily through the other cages. Some of the cages were as long as this hamster paradise but not as fun. It took a while to assemble, but I love collecting. At IKEA level, it wasn't bothersome. It cost me 1 beer and an hour of my life. But when I introduced my little Stella to her cage, she was SO happy! This cage has everything you need. A wheel, two shelters perfect for sleeping, two ladders, tunnels, a water bottle, 2 food bowls and even a small loft and separate "pot" with garbage and dustpan! I ended up replacing the wheel with one that my Hummy is already used to and it's a lot quieter than the one it comes with. But if I had to, I'd do what's included. It's been 3 days and my hamster hasn't even started chewing on his candy bars. This cage is exceptionally designed and ready to entertain your little pet. Lots of room to run, room to play, the tub is deep enough to fill with plenty of bedding to dig into and not hide the mess, and the railings, hinges and locks are VERY well done. I no longer have to worry about my hamster trying to escape or getting hurt. This cage is neither too tall nor too narrow, not to mention the bar spacing is SIMPLY perfect. My little Stella isn't fully grown yet, so I faced a dilemma: choosing a cage big enough for her to grow while still being accessible enough for her small size. Was I a little hurt paying for that cage? Of course. Does it give me peace of mind and joy to see my little fluffy baby happy and safe? Definitive! You will not regret buying a new home for your pet. This is a luxurious life for your little companion.
