I received them after returning another brand with poor sound quality. Right out of the box, they look like they're well made. Like most headphones, they are adjustable in size. Since I have a fairly large melon, I scaled it to the maximum size. They are the smallest but fit my head well without being uncomfortable. I bought it for my PS4 but since I just opened it and wanted to try it right away I connected it to my phone. I launched Spotify and skipped the first few suggested songs until I settled on Willie Nelson's On The Road Again. I'm by no means a fan of country, but I chose it because it started with a simple guitar and drums. As I listened, I felt like I was being transported to the studio where the song was recorded. So crisp and clean. Now for the sound quality on PS4. I have to admit that I don't connect them directly to the controller, but to the adapter that comes with the Sony Silver headphones. I had at least 3 silver earbuds as they keep breaking. That's why I chose HyperX this time. The volume is more than sufficient. The chat mixed with game audio is very clear. The HyperX comes with a great noise-cancelling microphone. My wife and I play together but in different rooms. I'm sitting in a leather chair and sneaking up to my left cheek, I asked her if she heard that. She didn't know what I was asking about, so she passed the background noise test! I've only had it for a week but am very happy with it. If anything changes I will update my review.
