First, like many of those cheap seat covers, they came with elastic straps and buckles to secure them to the seat. Second, the little plastic buckles and bits that hold the seat in place are sort of a greenish-white color, almost like glow-in-the-dark plastic. I really don't know why they couldn't just use black plastic. The elastic straps are the worst thing to hold on to. They actually need buckles with straps for a secure fit, instead they save and use elastic straps. The back of the lid rubs a little, but not enough to keep it in place. So after initial installation, they move when you get in and out of the car, or when you bend over a bit, it moves. I had to change it to tighten the elastic straps, even after that they are still not secured. It does the job, I bought these to go over the leather seats that were driving me crazy as they were so slippery and my bags would slide around. The vinyl material is less slippery than my factory leather, but these cases are so-so because of the poor quality of the straps.
