Too much for a full suit for a slim boy. My son is very slim and clothing with sufficient arm and leg length usually means he is baggy all over his torso. However, this suit was perfect for him. He looks very cool in it. I definitely wouldn't have bought this particular costume for a big boy, and maybe even an average boy - that's a really slim figure! I also measured my son closely and ordered based on his measurements, although he was on the high end of the measuring range for the size I ordered. The suit fits like a glove, even too much. There was absolutely no room for growth. So I recommend ordering a size up if you want room to grow or if your child's measurements are in the top half of the size range. The quality of my son's suit was good; I didn't notice any flaws in the quality of workmanship or the materials. The suit arrived brand new with no stains or other issues mentioned in some reviews. The shirt is not wrinkle resistant (this is not advertised) so plan to iron it. If your son is likely to remove his jacket and vest, he should wear a tank top, as the shirt is very thin, making it somewhat see-through. The rest of the suit is also made of very light material. That was a plus for me here because it's hot almost all year round. But this suit will not keep your son warm in winter if you live in a cold climate. In terms of quality, this is good value for money, but be realistic: your child will look good at church, at a wedding, at a funeral, at a school dance or at any other occasion (event) that they need make to dress, but no one will confuse it with a four piece designer suit.
