Review on SilverStone Technology External Swappable RL DS222 by Rodney Gonzalez

This is for (TS231U-C). As for the cabinets, this one looks pretty good, is well built and I'm proud to have it on my desk. I put two SATA drives in there, connected everything, booted, and then WHAT? This thing looks like a jet plane getting ready to take off! Okay, maybe not too bad, but the USB cable is so short that I can't move the thing far enough to tolerate that noise. There is also no fan speed control. Honestly, why did they stop at a great product with this nonsense? So I returned it. To be honest I could handle it if they offered a 10ft cord and I could hide it under the table, under the styrofoam, under the box, in the safe. nothing not to hear this fan.
