Aside from the bad bristles, the next complaint I can make about brushes, in my opinion, is that the bristles or the handle get stained and don't come off clean yourself. This cleans well. Re: Does the job - it's a good size for pots and pans and has stiff short bristles to give it a good clean. He's not long haired. The grip is pretty good. I don't like long handled brushes because you don't get any leverage when brushing. It's the length of a rubber scraper/trowel and the ergonomics are great. I didn't think I cared until I used this brush. Big difference!
