Choose a different camera if you're using a Mac.
It doesn't work well with my 8GB MacBook Pro model. I don't know if it's a driver issue or if it doesn't like going through a USB hub, but it's very unreliable. For what I bought I'm not very happy with it. Everything works fine on my Windows laptop.
