I bought a 16w Star LED ceiling light kit for my car. It arrived quickly. A sticker on the outside of the box said what I ordered was inside. I immediately unpacked the box to test the headlights as I was due to install them tomorrow. The power adapter that came in my box is not a car adapter but a regular 120 pin adapter. I plugged it in to test the lights, which lit up and started changing colors. I grabbed the remote and it didn't seem to work. I checked to see if there is a latch in the battery compartment that needs to be removed before use and there was no battery in the remote. I have contacted the seller and will update my review accordingly. UPDATE: The seller got back to them and said they would send a suitable adapter but it would take a couple of weeks. He asked me to update my rating to 5 stars when I receive it. He also suggested that I wire up the existing cable to connect to my car. I told him I wasn't comfortable with this and that I would wait for the adapter. Tomorrow it will be 3 weeks since I received the original batch and I still haven't received the matching power supply. I've been walking around my car in my hideout and driving to work for the past 3 weeks since my car's top came off. Right now it doesn't click at all. I hope the part comes soon so I can put my car back together and drive again. UPDATE: The matching power supply arrived after 4 weeks. I have completed the installation and am happy with the result. I am updating my rating to 5 based on the quality of the product. The fiber optic mounts work well and are long enough for easy installation. Perhaps the quality control of their packaging/wrapping/labeling should be improved to ensure the boxes have the correct power supply.
