I bought thick and fast wool yarn lightness in several colors at different times on Amazon. Thick and quick is an accurate description as it is a very quick knit, especially if you are using a triple crochet stitch like I am using now. I sewed scarves, mittens, I'm working on an afghan. It has a certain heaviness and warmth. The yarn broke on one of my orders, but compared to the number of skeins purchased, this was not enough to convince me not to buy the product again.
