Review on Perko 3004 4491 0493DP799M Intake Strainer by Brian Faxon
Rebuild, don't buy new
I rebuilt a 30 year old Perko filter that was covered in corrosive material and was leaking at the seals. I had to break the old screws and buy a replacement here. Be careful when cleaning the inside of the "glass". It is no glass and scratches. I soaked the top, bottom and a few small parts in acid overnight and they came out like new. The pads worked great and I got a "new" filter for very little money.
