The RAM mount was purchased for use with a Garmin Nuvi 660 GPS My previous Garmin windshield mount attached to the power cord so the Nuvi could be removed without touching the power cord . This isn't possible with a RAM mount, and to make matters worse, the Nuvi works wirelessly (for a short time) using a Garmin-supplied USB cable. I would have to buy a different power cord or adapter for it to work properly. So I returned the RAM mount and bought another Garmin mount! Otherwise, the RAM mount was large, well made, and more adjustable than the Garmin mount, but with unsatisfactory inconveniences.
