That sucks!
I installed this on my 2019 RoadGlide. I would say my skill level is average and I took the job myself. I bought them because the wires are external and it turned out great in that regard. Stretching the wires was a little tricky after taking the instrument cluster apart. I connected the power connector because the power consumption of the amplifier is small. Love her! Not as soft as traditional ISO grips, but much better than standard!
