Review on Uiosmuph G16 Rechargeable LED Wireless Mouse - 2.4G Portable Optical Computer Mouse For Laptop, PC, Desktop & MacBook (Starry Silver) by John Harvieux

I admit, I like the color.

1/28/21 update: I thought the mouse had stopped working, but I learned that it’s important that the correct USB dongle be used. I thought the white dongle went with it, but it’s a small black one. After inserting the correct dongle, it works like a charm. :) I can even use it with a USB adapter on my iPad, which is how I’m writing this update now.****1. Just to get this out of the way, I like the color. It matches my desk, and color-coordinating is important. I have nothing against a black mouse, but this one is very attractive in both color, style, and the color-changing light that goes around it.2. It feels pretty solid. It has a nice weight evenly distributed throughout. It's not heavy, but it doesn't feel flimsy, either. I can put my hands around the sides and feel comfortable.3. It's wireless and connects easily via a dongle (there should be a piece of tape over the dongle on the bottom of the mouse).4. It's rechargeable, so no replacing batteries on a regular basis. This is a big win.5. I didn't notice any abnormalities, such as non-responsiveness, lagging, etc. I believe when I first plugged it in, I may have had to turn it off and then on again, but I'm not sure. It's accurate and makes a soft click. That being said. the one drawback that I see, besides the obvious not having Bluetooth, is that there is no compartment to store the dongle while transporting. Most of the time, you probably won't need to, but you might. I don't really see the lack of Bluetooth as being a huge negative, although with only a few ports available and connecting to a port for other peripherals, speakers, a monitor, and a charger, there isn't a lot of room to spare. So, it's a good mouse, and I probably need a USB hub splitter anyway.

Pros
  • Energy Saving: The wireless mouse will be in sleep mode in 8 mins of inactivity. And the LED light can be turned off by the bottom light switch.
Cons
  • The design is outdated and unappealing
