Blurry spots are best in reading glasses

I really wanted to love these glasses, they look so cute and I really liked the colors. However, they either sent me the wrong prescription or they are defective. I could only see clearly when I looked straight ahead. Viewed from the side, above or below, everything is distorted and blurred. They really hurt my eyes. So disappointed, especially since I've bought cheaper readers in the past and they've been great.
