Review on 📻 Enhanced RT Systems Programming Software and USB-57B Cable Kit for Yaesu FT-70D Dual Band Digital HT by Todd Calloway

This software plus the cable that came with it is a simple improvement over the factory software. Yes, RTS wrote original factory software using Yaesu's clumsy method of radio programming. But it was on Yaesu's orders. On the contrary, THIS wired software uses the radio's "clone" method of programming, so none of this "remove battery" and "boot into special mode now" is nonsense. Instead, just plug a new cable into the microphone port, set the radio to clone, and then tell the software to either transmit or receive. Sheer convenience and ease of use makes this an easy purchase in my opinion, even if it's quite expensive. But most of the expense comes from the cable, which appears to have active electronics.
