This rice cooker works perfectly, but it's a bit annoying because the removable plate rises every time you press it and has to be levered off with a knife. Too much time is spent removing the excess potato from the presser foot, peeling the plate off, replacing the plate and pressing again. Since the hopper of this rice machine only holds a small potato (or maybe 3/4 of a medium sized one), you will need to repeat this process multiple times to process 4-6 potatoes. I really wish there was a way to provide interchangeable plates. Is there and I just miss him?
