I liked the look of this backpack and the smooth leather. Professional enough for a teacher to be able to carry around a laptop, although I've never really had to. The first thing that struck me is how impractical it is. Eyelets dig into my shoulder blades, but in the winter I told myself I'll put on a coat and move on. Before I could feel relief, however, one of the brass grommets came loose completely and my backpack rocked right in front of me, dumping its contents into the parking lot. I picked up everything, including the burst bush, immediately wrote to the seller, but there is no rating. Now the loose strap dangles between my legs like an embarrassed dog's tail. So no, I do not recommend this product.
