I do not recommend this product. I spent $40 on a teapot whose spout lid completely melted the second time I used it. Unfortunately I did not use it during the allowable return/refund window. It's also worth noting that the "whistle" sounds more like an ominous siren. It was quite terrifying but actually quite funny when I realized it was a kettle and not a warning that an atomic bomb had been dropped. While adorable (and fun), I highly recommend avoiding this kettle as it's expensive and non-functional. I really hate leaving negative reviews but I hope I'll save someone else the trouble of wasting money on a poorly made kettle.
