Great guide light, but high cost and cool white light Everyone knocks off a star

That's a great guide light. It's easy to install and an ingenious invention. My biggest complaints are: 1) The cost of this guide light is prohibitive given the materials and components used. The inventor must work to reduce manufacturing costs. Night lights that do the same thing but plug into one of the outlets can be bought for a fraction of the cost. Until the cost is brought down to be competitive with alternatives I don't think this will become a mainstream product. An example is that lower cost packaging options can be used to keep costs down until the product becomes mainstream and purchasing bulk packaging from original suppliers can be achieved for future improvements in this area. First, get the products into the hands of the public to generate word of mouth. Fancy packaging is of secondary importance to product performance. 2) The LED lamps used work at around 5000 Kelvin. In my opinion, and in the opinion of many others (as I have read in other reviews), this creates an uncomfortably bright white light, which is often referred to as cool white. This is not the color of light emitted by an incandescent lamp. The incandescent lamp has yellow tones and a softer glow. LED bulbs are available that are industry standard and produce a glow in the 2700 Kelvin temperature range. This creates a so-called soft white light with yellow tones that are usually found in incandescent lamps. LED night lights and all kinds of standard light format LED options are available in soft white 2700K. Many manufacturers even offer 5000K and 2700K options to cater to individual consumer tastes. At this price, this option should also be available for this product. My whole house is powered by LEDs, which are in the 2700K temperature range. The 5000K LED was a disappointment and I consider it to be "different". I live in an area of the country where there are many powerful scientific telescopes on top of the mountains and the 2700K LED is Dark Sky compliant. 5000K LED - no. Until these 2 issues I've identified are fixed I'll probably refrain from buying any more. Over time this can be a really good product. This is an incredibly great idea and it's amazing no one has thought of it before. However, there are still a few quirks that need to be ironed out.
