I am very satisfied with the performance of this Bluetooth headset and the intercom. Connecting any device to your phone is very simple. Turn it on, search for S6 on your bluetooth devices and pair it. Connecting the intercom function got me very frustrated due to the poor translation in the manual and none of the reviews explained how to do it so I'll explain it here. After both devices are powered on, they will blink blue and red and be in pairing mode. To pair them together you need to hold down A and the big round button on one device for a few seconds and it will go into intercom pairing mode. You do the same thing on another device and they pair and you can talk to each other. If you press the round button on any device again, it will turn off intercom mode and either go back to Bluetooth mode with your phone or go into pairing mode if you're not connected to your phone. Luckily, all you have to do is press A to reconnect and talk to another device again. Same when turning on after turning off. Press A and it will return to Intercom mode. These instructions are completely unclear in the manual and actually a bit wrong as it doesn't say how long to press the buttons for and doesn't mention the big round "Play" button at all. pair intercom. I figured it out through trial and error and almost gave up, but it worked in the end. I might even have had the wrong instructions because I tried so many things, but I think this worked. One thing I don't like about Intercom mode is that there is no option to just mute it, you basically turn off the intercom and reconnect every time. You want to talk and each time it takes a few seconds to pair. I just want to quickly mute and unmute the sound, but that doesn't seem like an option. I may be wrong, but I've tried several key combinations for this and nothing worked. One of the reasons this is so difficult is that each device can be paired with up to 5 other devices. I don't think they can all speak at the same time in the same group call, but one at a time by pressing any of the 5 letters on the side. Useful, but you have to remember which number is which person, and if you need to give directions to your group, you'll need to pair and unpair multiple devices to send them a message. Maybe I don't fully understand how it works, but in my experience it's not a very good system. For connecting just 2 people, it works great and is pretty reliable for the most part. There are 2 mounting options. Basically you can glue a holster and mic to the side of the helmet or use a small mic and clip the device to the side of the helmet and they can be removed if you don't want to use the devices very often. Assembly is easy and I have had no problems with this part. The headphone/mic jack doubles as a charging port, and everything is fairly waterproof. I'm tired of tinkering with this item, but it's nice to have and makes it a lot easier to talk to someone on long journeys than trying to yell at them, which doesn't work with full-face helmets anyway.
