This matchbox is a real treat. It is beautifully finished and you can feel the quality. The design is also well thought out. The shape of the "neck" from which you remove the matches is intended to make it easier to remove. The striker is inside to protect it from getting wet. The contents inside are protected by a carefully crafted screw cap with O-ring. (Extra latch and o-ring included.) The extra latch is located on the outside of the base. As I said, it's completely redundant, and Uco's plastic case performs the same function, just not with the same "class". Even the box it comes in is worthy of a "presentation box"! I'm happy with the cost.
