My MacBook Pro has a butterfly keyboard that's difficult for me to type on. I wanted to upgrade my desktop with a wireless keyboard and mouse that would allow me to use my computer from a greater distance (and stay away from the butterfly keys as much as possible). I'm glad to inform you that this keyboard is not butterfly keyboard but regular type keyboard. Setup was via Bluetooth - my laptop was able to find the keyboard and connect to it within a minute. To conserve battery life, the keyboard goes to sleep from time to time, so it takes a few keystrokes to wake up the keyboard and reconnect to the computer. Surprisingly, the keyboard is the size of my MacBook, so I had no problem getting used to the position of my hands on this keyboard. I've noticed that the sound when typing on this keyboard is louder than when typing on the MacBook's butterfly keyboard, but that's to be expected. The wireless mouse is lighter than I expected, but the tactile feedback is pretty good. Like the keyboard, the mouse goes into sleep mode after a long period of non-use.
