I tried this cutter and cut circles with a Jasper circle jig. Whilst it is insanely sharp like all Freud bits and worked well the noise and vibration made me very nervous and made the cutting quite slow Given the other reviews of the club being broken I felt I was very had to be careful as I was afraid of pushing it too hard., I have found that the Freud 75-104 works MUCH better with the 1/2" shank and is very easy to use with the 1/8" compensator template ., and now I know why the pros strongly recommend using 1/2" shank bits. This is a good Freudian but is limited by the 1/4" rod.
