Very difficult to assemble

Layers of pieces are further apart. We glued some of them but then they are too thick to fit the holes/slots. We've spent over 2 hours on this so far and it's far from almost done. Some parts are difficult to push out or fit into slots. My fingers are sore and covered in super glue. Not recommended for a child. Go with QBA instead.
