Review on Hopkins 48470 Endurance Multi Tow Connector by Jason Rodman

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Definitely worth it

Tacoma 2005-2015 Factory wiring runs low and often breaks when used off-road. I drilled a hole in my bumper and installed it next to the license plate. Many people run the factory wiring to the bumper and replace one of the license plate lights. I didn't like this option because there are 2 bulbs for a reason. Also, my standard gimbal was dangling from the wires when the mount was destroyed after the impact. I cut off the series wiring, left enough wires on the old harness to know the wire orientation, removed it, and added it to the Hopkins. The wire colors don't match, but that's to be expected since I don't think there's an "industry standard" for wire coating color. It is important that each wire is attached to the new wiring harness in the correct place. Line them up one by one and they're ready to go. It even comes with some dielectric grease to insulate the wires and protect them from corrosion.

Pros
  • Well Built
Cons
  • Neutral
