Review on πŸ“± Pioneer CDIB100II iPhone Interface Adapter by Matthew Burnett

Revainrating 5 out of 5

All around is great in Portable Audio & Video

The CDIB100II is an excellent product innovation. I bought this to use with my Pioneer DEH-p3700mp head unit and my 7G Ipod Classic (160GB). Connecting the cables was easy, and the small size of the box itself left plenty of room for cables and harnesses behind the main unit. The biggest difficulty anyone could have would be removing dashboards etc. Once installed I quickly figured out how to navigate the menus even on my budget main unit. However, my iPod contains my entire library of about 70 gigabytes of music. This makes it very difficult to find music by artist, album or song title, but I'm getting by with this fall. (It probably has more to do with my head unit than the adapter or my iPod). Go ahead - the sound quality is excellent. I tried using an FM transmitter before buying this one and found the sound quality unacceptable. I'm picky about the quality of my music and the CDIB100II has been very satisfying to me. Not only does this provide great sound quality and control, it also keeps my iPod charged. By the way, I read a review that said it was slow and laggy. I haven't had this problem. As soon as the head unit turns on, music playback starts where it left off. This surprised me because it usually takes about 10 seconds to boot from the hard drive. Overall I'm very happy with it and I'm glad I spent $50 to buy it.
