The mount itself is well made and solid. As stated in the product description, it is designed to be attached to a stud or other hard material, otherwise additional work will be required. I didn't have a stud available, just drywall, but luckily the other side of the wall was in the garage, so I used 6 1/4 screws all the way through the wall with the plywood mounting board on the garage side. like a stone. I'm deducting a star because, as others have complained, the supplied M4.0 screws were too short to attach to my 2017 model 32" Samsung TV. I had to buy longer ones. A few months ago I hung a $69 Costco TV mount for a friend. Your TV was a little heavier, but this smaller VIVO feels just as solid and is just as easy to control. I definitely haven't seen a $55 performance upgrade.
