I am very pleased with how simple and clean this design looks, it's very open and airy and perfect for replacing the dark squat bedside table I had previously. I like that there's plenty of room for a large stack of books, as well as room for a decent-sized box on the bottom, but not a lot of top-floor space for clutter to accumulate. Legs/stands and top/bottom of shelves are neatly finished. therefore they are smooth and only the edges of the shelves are not varnished but sanded. Everything fits together nicely with no gaps and I put it together in about two minutes, but I took off a star because A) one of the legs was a little torn off and wobbled, but that was easily fixed by rolling up the tape a bit and taped it under said leg and now it's perfectly stable. Easy fix, don't send it back for another one. B) There was a small defect when unpacking when something hit one of the shelves leaving a small dent, easily fixed by simply turning it upside down with the unmarked side. C) One of the threads for the legs was pulled too tight and split the wood. Not a huge issue as it's on the underside anyway, but could be the reason the leg has been pushed back a bit. Overall the flaws are minor and I'm really very happy with this little bedside table and I can easily buy another one for plants or storage because the design is so beautiful.
