Given the instructions and information in Japanese, I had to test this product myself through trial and error. Initially I used it like any other cleanser and didn't have the best results. I only put water in my hands to "lather" it but it doesn't lather at all. Then I tried applying it directly to a dry face and then rinsing it off with water. This method is definitely the way to go. You can feel wear, it's starting to dissipate around very oily areas [like my nose and forehead] I never in my life thought oil would help fight oily skin but it does! I love washing my face with a harsher cleanser, then steam drying it's really good, and then apply this product, leave on for 15 minutes and then rinse off. It leaves my face fresh and clean with no marks or dirt. it doesn't sting my eyes either and I use it like coconut oil for make-up removal, including eyelash glue. This refill is great because it cuts down on ordering another bottle. There's also a piece of plastic spout from the filler cap so it's more durable when pouring. You cannot reseal this refill pack, so it is best to wait until you have used up all of your product to refill the bottle, or use another bottle of your choice. clean and not filmy or with residue. Remove makeup once with this amazing oil and you will see how good its cleaning power is without drying. [no, not sponsored]
