I don't know what it is but I can't find combs like this anywhere. You'd think that since it's so simple, there will always be those wide-toothed, widely spaced crests. I swear everyone's trying to reinvent the comb. I can't find any of them with no tricks to break the deal. They are good too! All teeth are polished to a perfect smoothness but you still have a good grip. Doesn't bite and feels good. Really durable and strong in hand. I'm not worried about them breaking anytime soon. I have one in the shower and one by the sink. There is nothing better for detangling and styling thick, wavy hair with some curl.
