. So I originally bought it to see the voltage my sound system drew when my car was on. But one night as I was walking home, this little device started flashing a red light, which caught my attention. I noticed my volts drop to 11.2 and kept dropping as I drove. I immediately turned off my sound system and watched my volts still drop. When I got home I finally got the battery light on the dash. Long story short, this device let me know my charging system wasn't working and I decided not to take it to work the next day. This saved me a towing bill and I could tell from the voltage drop that it was my alternator. I will never ride without this device again.
