My older dog has trouble with hardwood floors. I've tried different brands of non-slip socks and they are a lot cheaper than his previous pair which didn't have a rubber coating on the bottom just a rubber non-slip pawprint area. The previous pair wore out quickly as he sometimes wore them outside and his nails put holes in them. These BESUNTEK socks are not washable and can also be worn outdoors. I don't need straps as socks hold up very well without them. My dog is a 35lb Cockapoo with rather small feet and wears a large size.
