Don't be fooled by claims of superior performance.

I paid a high price for this product and expected the superior quality promised. But it was a waste of money. Despite proper placement and signs of a very strong signal, the router signal speed drop varies from 60% loss to 95% loss, typically around 75% loss. Extension cords that cost 1/3 more can match and even exceed the performance of these devices. The only positive thing I can say about it is that the design of the plastic case is aesthetically pleasing. Updated May 29, 2018. a few days ago and continues. Now the speed loss ranges from 75% loss to 98% loss, usually around 90% loss. May 30, 2018 update. The speed loss worsened even more. Now it's so slow that webpages won't load. Item returned by Revain. Thank you Revain for the simple and easy return policy and service. THIS PRODUCT IS A WASTE OF MONEY. Update June 7th 2018 I bought a TP-Link RE-450 and installed it in the exact same place as this Netgear EX7300. Download speeds increased significantly when I placed TP-Link in the same spot I had Netgear and measured the signal loss at the same point of use, which is about 40ft from the repeater and through 3 interior walls. With the TP-Link RE-450 I now typically get 10-20Mbps download speeds, while with Netgear I typically only get 1-8Mbps. And the TP-Link RE-450 was significantly cheaper than this Netgear.
