Review on 🕐 CASIO G-Shock GG1000-1A5 Quartz Watch with Resin Strap - Beige, 30 by Monica Ross

I love this watch, it is the most expensive watch I have ever bought in my 35 years. This is a very good watch that has exceeded all my expectations. But it's huge, and digital time, compass bearing, and everything else you need to read digitally requires a large amount of light in the background or overhead to be able to see it. It's not a perfectly contrasting black and white digital watch, but more of a black and gray watch. So forget about checking the time or other digital functions in low light conditions, especially at night. The hand light at the 6 o'clock position is a white LED and doesn't help you at all with reading the digital display, it's only good for reading the clock hands and compass, but if you want to read the temperature (digital) at night, forget it You need a real light source to be able to read the temperature, especially if the minute hand is somewhere between 11 and 1, it will also hide the temperature. Also, it took me 3 hours to figure out how to sync the hands with digital time as the instructions don't explain well enough and there aren't many YouTube videos. I ended up having to go to the Casio website, find the watch and watch a video of it. 3 hours! I have no problem reading the manual, but the manual told me to do one thing and the watch did another. The manual is not intended for this specific watch model. Just a general guide for earlier models. 3 stars because for the money and huge size the digital display needs to glow too, LED backlit with backlight is not good enough for the display. I want to love this watch but instead I love it and will only wear it when hiking.
