My son is 3.5 and his OT recommended we purchase a balance board to help him with sensory-seeking behaviors. I had no idea how useful and versatile this balance board would be. My son LOVES wobbling on it, at first he was a little hesitant but the balance board is so sturdy I was able to stand on it with my son and wobble until he felt confident enough to do it on his own (which only took a few minutes). Since then he uses it EVERY DAY, as a wobble board, as a bridge in an obstacle course, as a slide off the couch, as a ramp/tunnel for cars. He also lays in it and rocks while he looks at books. I wish we knew about this balance board earlier because it is definitely a versatile tool for any age, both for young toddlers and adults given the sturdiness of the design. I am so glad his OT recommended investing in a balance board, because it is worth every penny.
