Bulky with very little stretch.
In the photo and video I've attached I compare Lily Silk hair tie (pink) to Slip hair tie (silver). The Lily Silk hair tie is quite bulky and barely elastic enough to be used as a hair tie. I have very thin short hair and the elastic is barely enough to wrap my hair once. If you have thick hair I don't expect this to be easy to use.
