4 gallon bags reviewed

I only have small tiny cans inside my home that I empty as needed. My kitchen can is very small that I keep under the sink, it is what most people have in their bathrooms and it measures 10" tall and the opening of the can on the top is oval shaped, 7" x 9". I ordered the 4 gallon size and it works perfectly in this size can with plenty of room to spare. You NEED this room to spare so if you try stuffing things into the can and compress it, the bag will NOT splitor rip. In other words, the bag is a bit bigger than the can. These are cheap cans from dollar tree and I stack them. I put the bag into one can and the extra bag length that you would fold over the top then gets bunched up at the sides near the rim and I then put that into the second can. The 2nd can acts as a bag holder so the liner does not move at all. Smart, right? I only use small cans in the kitchen because I don't want bugs or odors in the house so I do empty that can more often into the big can in the garage. If you put these bags into a can and it does not reach the bottom of the can, it will certainly rip the bag if you ever try to over stuff it at some point. You should buy the correct size bag or bigger if you are an over stuffer. If you are using this for tissues and such in a bathroom, no problem. Scrap paper in an office, no problem. These are clear bags and do not leak, at all. I no longer get the bags from the grocery stores and these are much better than those were anyway. When I need a bag for a head of lettuce or a bunch of celery that I just washed, I use these for that too. If you are painting, you can line the tray with one of these and make clean up that much easier. This will come packaged in 1 box of 6 smaller rolls, 55 bags per roll. If you have small cans around the house, you can keep a roll in the bottom of each can and use them as needed and you won't have to waste time finding them if they are already in the bottom of the can. The price is great and I won't have to think about trash liners for the next year or two now. If these are still here for sale then, I will repurchase them.

Pros
  • It’s great trash bag but little bit pricy
Cons
  • The bags are too thin.
