Bought a 24w white LED panel to replace a 12" T9 fluorescent tube. give it a flat surface. Tip: Use the shipping carton! The kit includes the magnets and screws needed to mount to an existing metal ceiling light. I removed the existing T9 fluorescent lamp and ballast along with the metal clips holding the T9 bulb. Then I attached the assembled LED panel with the new ballast. The wiring was also very easy. Using the included double ended spring connector I connected the LED wires to the wires from the ceiling. I had to strip the ceiling wires for a clean connection (so you may need pliers to do this for your wires). I used red for plus and blue for minus from the LED strip, my ceiling wires are white (neutral) and black for hot (positive). ).Spring connector or unmarked, simply align each end with the spring connector. The LED is very bright. Much brighter and bluer than yellow light. Overall I'm very happy with the ease of installation. Very important!
