Corks taper well, so they're ideal for many more bottles than lever caps. Not only are they perfect for regular 12 ounce bottles, they work great with 22 ounce bottles too. These plugs are not only securely fixed, but also securely locked until you pull them out. No more corks at the bottom of the fridge, no more open bottles, no more draft beer. Just remember that air pressure, or rather the lack of it, is the enemy of carbonation. If your bottle isn't very full, you'll lose a lot of fizz. It's not the fault of those stoppers. If I personally have less than half a bottle left, I will pour it (slowly and carefully!) into a smaller container that I can seal so the contents hold the pressure better. But half or more? One of these star plugs is coming out! They work so well I threw away ALL my other plugs.
