Roomy toes, thin sole

My feet are oddly shaped. They are short and wide with a very high rise. I have trouble with boots and find it difficult to get my foot into shoes with a tight collar or tongue. Now that I'm seven months pregnant, I'm having serious trouble finding anything suitable other than sandals. It was a surprisingly comfortable fit. The shoes often press on the top of my big toe and I feel like they are trying to flatten it. I have space at the top and sides of my toes, which is a whole new experience for me and very nice. I also have thick ankles and they didn't irritate or dig. These fit perfectly. I ordered a size up because I had no idea what my feet were going to be doing over the next few months and they seem perfect for a size 7. My only criticism isn't really a complaint because I think that's exactly what the shoes are advertised for. The problem is that the sole is very thin. Since they're advertised as "barefoot" shoes, it makes sense. I prefer something with more support, but that's not the fault of these shoes. I have a feeling that they all keep their promises. It looks the same as in the pictures. They make me chuckle a little because they remind me of Flint Lockwood's shoe spray from Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs. I haven't tested them in the water but I suspect they might be waterproof with rubber soles as my feet sweat profusely from wearing them for hours.
