I have a 15.5 year old Bengal girl with chronic kidney disease. She always had premium groceries (nothing from the supermarket) and had picky tastes. After being diagnosed with kidney failure, we are desperate for a food that she can eat that is low in protein to keep her creatinine/BUN at safe levels, but with enough protein for her to enjoy. This is a win-win situation. She's gained a much-needed pound and a half and is thriving with a creatinine of 3.5. We supplement this with Hill's KD dry food.
