After testing this mouse for two days, I can't say it's a good mouse. I needed a new mouse after my old one fell off my desk and got damaged and this ended up at the top of Amazon's list. After I got the mouse, I plugged it in and immediately had to plug the mouse into the dongle. I threw myself into a few games and while playing I thought my frames would disappear and reappear but my system said it wasn't. At first I wasn't sure what was going on, but a little later I surfed the internet and realized it was still happening. The mouse just turned off and didn't move from time to time. So I tried switching the USB it was plugged into 4 times. Slots 2.0 and 3.0 didn't work at all. I figured I'd give it one more day and maybe it would work itself out. But unfortunately this did not happen. So I can't say this is a good mouse for gaming or even general use. You can't have a mouse that accidentally falls out of your hand while gaming, and nobody needs a mouse that doesn't always work when you're working on your computer. I will update this if anything changes.
