Got a new Apple MacBook Pro 16" (late 2019 model) and this protector was by Forito but only covers trackpad.but the Forito Palm rest and trackpad combination for two dollars more that states it’s for 15.4 McBPro fits our 26 inch versions. It’s the colored one by Forito, not clear, and available on revain. Search it, it works superbly. There is a touch (2mm approx) of space at the end of the palm rests at the very edges (right and left side) of the surface of the MacPro, but its minimal and I believe that this might be present even on the 15.4" that this was intended for, I'm not sure. I wouldn't want the protector coming precisely to the end of the aluminum surface or else it would lift up if I brush it. This is ideal as it is.Observations:I did place it and then peeled it up to re-stick it to align it, no issues. Still sticks well. Easy to peel up, not goes or stringy.I can use the force touch trackpad through the trackpad protector. Didn't know if this would be the case, but it is. No issue, and I actually like the feel of the protector. Its not perfect smooth like the glass trackpad, but instead is slightly rough, not very rough, just a touch. Just enough. Before you stick the trackpad protector you could simply pace it on the trackpad with backing in place and see if it affects your use of the trackpad. None for me.The trackpad protector is pre-cut out and fits perfectly on the trackpad of this model, right to the very edge of the trackpad. Its ideal. My package had two of the trackpad protectors; I don't know if this is standard or if I just got lucky. Now I have a spare if this one shows age over time.The two palm rest protectors are connected by thin strips on top and bottom tat run atop and below the track pad, so this portion is one piece. One could cut them apart if they wanted to, but they fit nicely around the trackpad of this 2019 16 inch McBPro, so I didn't hav to cut anything,The protector itself doesn't get grimy or fingerprints anywhere near like the actual McBPro surface. This is a huge upgrade for looks.I cannot find any issues yet. I will update depending on how these wear over time. I got nothing free and bought and tested this product on my own. I like it more than I thought I would.
