In the interests of full disclosure, let me first say that I do not exercise, including cycling and hiking to the point of physical exhaustion. With this setup, I can have drinks while mowing the lawn and still look cool. 3 liters is equivalent to over six cans of beer, I mean water. My lawn is pretty big so I'm thirsty. It doesn't leak at all, it has a high quality built in bite valve, it has no lid, you just squeeze the rubber tip to take a sip. It's easy to use even when it's almost empty and my coordination isn't the best. It's easy to clean. I gave it to my wife and she took it apart and cleaned it in just a few minutes. No bad smells when I checked next time I used it so it was really clean.
