I reviewed a number of mouse pads and bought another before buying this one. I'm glad I returned the other one and bought this one, it's much better. It's much thicker and stays flat. The edges are well stitched, will not slip on the table. Size was important to me because my laptop sits next to a second Xbox monitor, so I wanted to be able to move my mouse and keyboard anywhere in front of me. This mouse pad allows me to do this without constantly moving the pad, keyboard and mouse. it's also hydrophobic which is nice, I spilled a few drops of beer the other day and it washed off easily. If your use case sounds similar, get this one and you won't be disappointed.
